MICHAEL TRACHIOTIS - AWARD WINNING SCREENWRITER & FILMMAKER - TEACHER

Michael Trachiotis - Award Winning Screenwriter, Filmmaker, Producer, Director and Editor. Comic Creator, Writer, Artist and Animator.
His short films "Death Knocked 3 Times" and “Innocence Lost” have received multiple accolades and awards.
Michael’s scripts “The Black Hatchet,” “Blue Girl,” and “The Chrysanthemum Garden” have also garnered very positive reviews and awards.
His writing and story development experience includes working for legendary director and producer Penny Marshall and Parkway Productions in story, script and project development.
As well he has been retained to consult and strengthen scripts that encompassed analysis, character development, dialog, story arc, editing, rewriting and generating original material.
Michael’s limited edition, The Black Hatchet animated proof-of-concept comics, adapted from the script sold out at at comic-cons and on Amazon (Comics are available free).
Stan Lee read the book in it’s early development and praised him for it's art and story and shared advice on how to make it more compelling that Michael used to engineer The Black Hatchet.
Several years later he returned to AAU and taught graduate and undergraduate students in the art of building compelling Hollywood stories and screenplays.
Furthermore, Michael has a BS, Journalism (Cal Poly, SLO – Advertising and PR), BA, Cinema (SFSU – Screenwriting) and MFA, Motion Pictures and Television (AAU, SF – Producing and Directing).
He also created, produced and edited several 2D/3D "mini-short" films and animations for Augmented Reality that were also used in advertising, marketing, PR, social media, product and promotional campaigns.
